Mirla Studio is a distinguished landscape architecture and urban design firm based in Barcelona. It was established by Laia Mestre and Jordi Mansilla with a strong vision to champion nature as a catalyst for metropolitan transformation. The studio has garnered widespread recognition, with its projects featured in publications such as AD, A10, Future, and Quaderns. Additionally, Mirla has had the privilege of participating in prestigious exhibitions at venues like the MACBA of Barcelona, the Centre d’Arts Santa Monica, and the Architects College of Catalonia.
The studio’s commitment to excellence in its work is evident through its achievements, such as the esteemed FAD Landscape Award for its design of the gardens at the Lycée Français in Barcelona. Mirla has also earned the First Prize for the urban design of the “La Savinosa” sea promontorium in Tarragona. Moreover, the studio received an honorable mention in the international competition of Glories Square in Barcelona, where it played a significant role in shaping its new urban volumes.
